Cusco - Inca Trail (Chilca, Wayllabamba, Llactapata, campsite)

  • Very early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you in a private transportation to the km 82 where we will arrive mid-morning. We will meet there the members of the staff who will join us for the trek, porters, cooks, etc. Then the trekking begins.
  • This first day is pretty easy the first kilometers. We will have a beautiful view of the Veronica glacier and we will walk near Vilcanota River until we get to the archaeological complex of Patallacta. We will have lunch and rest before continuing to Huayllabamba where we will set the first campsite.
  • You will then be able to enjoy a hot shower, a massage session, and a gourmet meal prepared by our chef and their assistants before your first night of sleep in a luxury tent.

    Inca Trail (Warmiwañusca, Pacaymayo, campsite)

  • After breakfast, the hardest part of the trail begins because we will reach the first step called Warmiwañusca up to 4200 m.a.s.l. You will enjoy incredible panoramic views of the mountain chains of this area.
  • After lunch, we begin the way down towards Pacaymayo valley where we will set the second campsite.
  • You will then be able to enjoy a hot shower, a massage session, and a gourmet meal prepared by our chef and their assistants before your first night of sleep in a luxury tent.

    Inca Trail (Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, campsite1)

  • After breakfast, those who wish can participate in a yoga session with an instructor.
  • Early in the morning, only after a 30 minute walk, we will find the archaeological complex of Runkurakay. At his point we will see the inca trail is completely covered with stones and some places it is up to 2 meters wide. We will see Inca architecture; we will visit Sayacmarca, a beautiful complex.
  • We will also go through a tunnel to reach the archaeological site of Phuyupatamarca.
    1. If the Government imposes Puyupatamarca as the campsite, we will spend there the thrid night.
    2. If the Government imposes Wiñayhuayna as the campsite, we will continue the way down through an interesting path, covered with dense vegetation of the rainforest, very rich in plants and animals. Two hours later, we will arrive to the campsite where we will settle for the third night.
    1Campsite cannot be known in advance because it is assigned by the Ministry of Culture when booking the trek. It is Wiñayhuayna or Puyupatamarca.

    Inca Trail (Campsite1, Wiñayhuayna) - Machu Picchu - Cusco

  • Very early, we will begin the hike.
    1. If the Government imposes Puyupatamarca as the campsite1 on day 3, we will continue the way down through an interesting path, covered with dense vegetation of the rainforest, very rich in plants and animals. Two hours later, we will arrive to the campsite where we will arrive to Wiñayhuayna.
  • We will then get to the Intipunku (Sun Gate), from where we will be able to see the Citadel of Machu Picchu.
  • Early or mid-morning (depending on the campsite1 imposed on day 3), we will have a guided tour of the citadel visiting the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries.
  • Free time to stroll around the citadel. Lunch at a local restaurant in Aguas Calientes.
  • Accomodation in a 4-Star hotel.

    Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

  • You will take the bus from Aguas Calientes station to the entrance of Machu Picchu, knowing that the first bus departs from Aguas Calientes at 05:30. At your chosen time, you will visit Machu Picchu with our private guide, following the circuit (itinerary) of your choice. The time and circuit are defined at the time of booking.
  • Free time to stroll through the citadel. Lunch at a local restaurant in Aguas Calientes.
  • In the afternoon, departure from Aguas Calientes by train in Vistadome category to Ollantaytambo, then private road transport to your hotel in Cusco, where you will arrive around 8:00 PM. End of our services.
