Early in the morning, transfer from your hotel to the train station to take the train that will take us to Km 104, the starting point of the hike.
Start of the hike. After crossing the suspension bridge over the Urubamba River and visiting the archaeological site of
Chachabamba, we will ascend to the splendid archaeological complex of Wiñayhuayna, perched on the impressive mountains
overlooking the Urubamba Valley.
During the journey, we will also appreciate the typical vegetation of the rainforest. Then, we will visit the
archaeological ruins of Intipunku (Sun Gate) and arrive at Machu Picchu.
At Machu Picchu, we will have a guided tour along circuit 1B
lasting approximately 90 minutes. Please note that this circuit and the allotted time do not allow
for a visit to the ruins located on the other side of the Citadel.
Afterward, we will take a bus down to the village of Aguas Calientes.
Depending on the arrival time and the train schedule for the return journey, it may be possible to spend some time
in Aguas Calientes to visit the village.
Return by train to Ollantaytambo, then by bus to a central square in Cusco.
