The Covid-19

Hide all

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected and is still directly affecting tourism in Peru. Below a brief on the situation.

We are a Travel Agency, so we can only inform you about the current situation in our country and the touristic services we offer. We obviously do not have any information about the future situation or measures upon departure from your country or your arrival in Peru. We invite you to consult the competent services in your departure country and in Peru for such information.
What is the current situation?

Peru has been among the countries most affected by the pandemic and on several occasions governments (there have been 3 in 1 year!) have taken strong and drastic measures to contain the pandemic. For example, as of February 1, 2021, several regions of Peru are once again under total and mandatory containment. However, we now know that things are tending to improve. The number of people affected is dropping and vaccinations began. This is coupled with a real collective awareness.

Our agency was hit hard and we have been closed for almost a year. Our staff has been technically unemployed and all the people involved directly or indirectly in our services (guides, porters, etc.) have been left without any income. However, the solidity of our agency allowed us to face the crisis, considering that almost half of the travel agencies in the country have definitively closed! Ours has been able to resist and we are happy to announce that this Monday, February 1, 2021 we reopen. Not in-person of course because we are in lockdown, but we are nevertheless present. Our team is available 7 days a week for your questions and bookings.

Consequences on tourism and our services

On March 1st, 2021, touristic sites in Peru are starting to open with reduced capacities. Some can be booked for a definitive date. For the others that don't have confirmed opening dates and conditions, our agency is offering the possibility to book with an open date, that is without having to set a final date or with the possibility to change it if you have one.
